Every Pound Counts Campaign
Working in partnership with local advice agencies Lambeth
Council has created a dedicated welfare rights team, with staff who
visit people in their own homes and advise them on their benefit rights,
and help them fill in forms to claim what they are entitled to.
The Every Pound Counts campaign is aimed at older people,
adults with disabilities or long term health needs, and people caring
for a disabled child or a child with a long term illness. It is possible
to self refer or to be referred from social services, health, housing or
from the voluntary sector.
